Travis Burhop is a man with a knack to teach and he
has done this beautifully in the past more than 10 years. Travis is a Physical
Educator as well as a Coach who has since over a decade motivated and
instructed youth about the importance and joy of physical activity. Currently
he teaches at the University of California. He overlooks the activities and
lecture classes at the lower division, upper division, and professional level.
Travis is the head of an expert faculty which includes varsity coaches.
Travis has been instrumental in chalking out the structure
and design of the activities classes. He has offered students an enjoyable
format in which to acquire skills in specific physical activities and sports.
His intention has always been to provide an enjoyable way to advance skills.
And he has constantly endeavored to help students develop an appreciation for
health and wellness. He is an ardent promoter of the concept of lifetime
fitness.
Travis delivers lecture classes in coaching methods and the
sociology of sports, health and drug education, as well as teaching of physical
education in an elementary school setting. Asides from his skills as a coach
and a teacher he has vast experience of managing sports functions, logistics,
eligibility, and facilities. He has used scientific techniques and latest
technological equipment to execute his work in the best way possible.
Travis Burhop is a devoted physical education teacher
who has always tried to hone the skills of students by use of innovative
teaching techniques. He has actively involved himself in planning out daily
lessons, and implemented those lessons according to the curriculum. He has
taught units in field hockey, football, soccer, weight training, gymnastics,
and basketball. He is also currently head coach of the university's boys' Field
hockey team. He daily conducts practice sessions and instructs the boys on
skills and strategies of the game.
On top of that Travis Burhop has also helped spot and
recruit potential student athletes, run daily practice sessions, off season
weight training programs and off season workouts. Last but not the least he has
also trained the goalies in each sport.
